Throughout America, on racetracks, dirt tracks, and even mountain roads, average men and women with ordinary lives, jobs, and families pursue their extraordinary and sometimes dangerous passion of local and regional auto and motorcycle racing. Hometown Racers is a self-contained hybrid-style docuseries that profiles these dedicated racers as they prepare for and compete in the demanding “minor leagues” of American racing.

Each episode features a specific racing location and one or more drivers preparing their car/bike, culminating in the big race. Hosted by professional actor and auto racing expert Bill LeVasseur, Hometown Racers provides an inside look at the racers, their families, and crews, as well as their motivations and challenges. Hometown Racers allows viewers to experience first-hand the American spirit, values, and determination that make these folks so remarkable.
